Media Competences of the Teacher and their Psychological Aspects

Abstract
The article deals with the didactic and educational possibilities of electronic media, media products and media resources, their psychological characteristics. The development of informatization in education is considered as an urgent need to find ways, methods, methods of organizing the educational space. The accessibility and democracy of media pedagogy is indicated. The lack of professional competence of working teachers to use e-pedagogics and ways to correct this problem are emphasized. Especially in the article the types and functions of modern media are analyzed, their characteristics, psychological aspects. Media-pedagogical readiness of teachers for educational work is considered from the point of view of competence, modular and credit approaches. Attention is paid to the organization of self-education, self-education and self-development of teachers in the field of electronic pedagogy.
