This article is devoted to the analysis of the need to develop software that allows digital design of the machining process with high accuracy and analysis of the results obtained using this software. The article describes in detail the possibilities of digital design in mechanical processing of parts. This process is based on smart design technology. The constructed 3D models allow you to graphically display the modelled system and solve the problems of creating model geometry; determine the physical and mechanical properties of the processed parts, as well as functional, structural, technological and geometric parameters. The program can be used to ensure the efficiency of designing technological systems for mechanical processing of parts.
