Development of a Mathematical Model for Studying Changes in Groundwater Levels and their Mineralization

Abstract
The study of the process of changing the groundwater level and salt concentration when monitoring freshwater reserves is one of the urgent tasks. Therefore, in this study, the relationship between changes in the groundwater level and mineralization processes was considered in terms of groundwater movement and salt migration. For a comprehensive study of the process of changing the Sizo water level and salt concentration, an improved mathematical model was developed that describes the main features of the object. This problem was expressed in the form of nonlinear differential equations for monitoring geofiltration and geomigration processes through numerical and mathematical modeling and the development of proposals and recommendations. In this case, unlike previous studies, such important parameters as soil density and active porosity were taken into account, and open boundary conditions of the third order were taken into account. Since the problem is presented by nonlinear differential equations with free variables, its analytical solution is impossible. To find solutions to these problems, an absolutely stable implicit scheme with high approximation accuracy, finite differences, and forward and backward extraction methods was used, and an efficient numerical algorithm was presented.
