Annotaciya
This article presents a multidimensional mathematical model of heat and moisture transfer processes in the storage of grain products under the influence of natural factors. The model is based on thermodynamic laws for monitoring and predicting heterogeneous porous bodies, taking into account the impact of pests, ambient temperature, and humidity. The model incorporates pest activity and allows for an analysis of their effect on heat and moisture distribution. Using the proposed mathematical framework for heat and moisture transfer processes, numerical calculations were carried out on a computing cluster. These calculations enable the prediction of temperature and humidity in heterogeneous porous materials based on their physical and mechanical properties, environmental temperature, and humidity, as well as the impact of various storage conditions on product quality and shelf life. Computational results have shown that pests alter humidity and temperature levels in storage facilities, negatively affecting the storage process. Increased pest activity significantly reduces storage duration. In the storage of heterogeneous porous bodies (grain products), thermal conductivity, moisture conductivity, heat transfer, and moisture transfer coefficients play a crucial role. As their values increase, the area affected by heat and moisture expands over time.
