Mathematical Model and Numerical Simulation of Atmospheric Dispersion of Radioactive Impurities with Wet Deposition Effects
Убайдуллаев, М.Ш.
Annotaciya
This paper proposes a mathematical model and a numerical algorithm for studying the processes of transport and diffusion of radioactive impurities in the atmospheric boundary layer. The model is based on the advection–diffusion equation and takes into account the influence of key meteorological factors, including wind speed and direction, turbulent diffusion coefficients, radioactive decay, wet deposition, and particle capture by vegetation elements. To solve the formulated problem, the method of variable substitution and an implicit finite-difference scheme with second-order accuracy in time and spatial coordinates are employed. Numerical experiments are carried out to analyze the spatiotemporal distribution of radioactive impurity concentrations under various process parameters. The obtained results confirm the adequacy of the proposed model and its applicability for assessing radiation conditions and forecasting atmospheric pollution.
