Аннотация
The paper considers model problems aimed at analyzing the influence of key parameters on the dispersion of harmful pollutants released into the atmosphere from industrial facilities, energy sources, and transportation systems. For these problems, analytical solutions are obtained that can be used to validate the proposed mathematical models of atmospheric transport and diffusion of pollutants. Based on the analytical solutions, computational experiments were carried out, which showed that under low wind-speed conditions (calm atmosphere), changes in pollutant concentrations are mainly governed by the absorption coefficient of aerosol particles and molecular diffusion. An additional significant factor is the coefficient of aerosol particle capture by vegetation; an increase in this parameter leads to a proportional decrease in aerosol concentrations in the near-surface atmospheric layer. Numerical calculations also demonstrated that wind speed is one of the key parameters determining the transport of pollutants. With increasing wind speed, the transport area expands, while aerosol particle concentrations decrease.
