A mathematical model for the control and prediction of heat and moisture exchange in porous grain media to minimize losses
Адизова, З.М.
Annotaciya
The work proposes a mathematical model for monitoring and predicting the processes of heat and moisture exchange in a porous grain environment. The model represents the processes of heat transfer, moisture diffusion, and evaporation-condensation in the form of a system of interrelated equations based on the laws of energy and mass conservation. The boundary conditions are given in the form of a convective type. The parameters are determined on the basis of laboratory and warehouse observations; the stability of numerical schemes is ensured by analyzing the stability and convergence of calculations. The model allows for a quantitative assessment of moisture migration, temperature gradients and their interaction with aeration regimes, as well as for identifying overheating zones and areas with a high risk of mold formation at an early stage. Sensitivity analysis evaluates the impact of controlled parameters on grain storage and drying losses; this helps to select optimal modes to maintain product quality and minimize losses.
