Annotaciya

This article examines the application of the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method in decision support systems for career choice. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to intellectualize career guidance processes in the context of the digitalization of higher education. A mathematical model for selecting a professional direction based on the comparison of the characteristics of a current student with the profiles of successful graduates is proposed. An algorithm for calculating local and global similarity between the student’s profile and reference professional cases has been developed. The obtained results can be used to generate personalized career recommendations. The proposed model can be applied in educational information systems to automate the career guidance process for students.
