Abstract
This article examines the geometric modeling of Islamic decorative patterns and digital algorithms for their creation. The compositional structure of Islamic patterns, the laws of symmetry, repeating elements, and the principles of formation based on geometric transformations are analyzed. Methods for constructing complex ornamental elements based on parametric, recursive, and iterative approaches are discussed, and mathematical models for these elements are developed. Additionally, the possibilities of using transformations such as rotation, scaling, shear, reflection, and polygonal support structures in pattern generation are discussed. The article examines the automatic creation, visualization, and implementation of various variants of Islamic decorative patterns in a practical software environment using digital algorithms. The proposed approaches are of great importance in the digital restoration of national and architectural ornaments, the creation of modern design, computer graphics, and educational programs. The research results provide a deeper understanding of the geometric properties of Islamic ornaments and their algorithmic development.
