ALİSHER NAVOİ’S OPINIONS ABOUT AMİR KHUSROW-I DEHLEVİ IN HIS HAMSE

Abstract
Alisher Navoi, the great name of Chagatay Literature, was influenced by three great names while writing his hamse: Nizami, Amir Khusrow-i Dehlevi and Abdurrahman Jami. Nevayi accept these three names as the pinnacle of poetry and he express his desire to write like them at every opportunity. One of these names, Amir Khusrow, lived in India in the XIII-XIVth centuries. He wrote a hamse under the influence of Nizami, and gained a great fame thanks to this hamse. Nevayi also expressed that he was impressed by this great name and remembered him with great respect. In this article, firstly, information about the hamse tradition that started with Nizami will be given and life of Khusrow-i Dehlevi will be briefly mentioned. After, Navoi’s views on Amir Khusrow in his hamse will be revealed by transferring the relevant couplets to Turkey Turkish.
