THE PLACE OF SAJ ART IN ALISHER NAVOI’S DEBOCHA

The article discusses the importance of introductions for divans as an important and reliable source in the study of the life and work of poets, the introduction and its features. In particular, it is emphasized that introductions for divans are of particular importance in terms of the formulation and content of questions, composition and style of narration. The introduction contains information about the poet’s biography, literary activity, the history of the creation of works, literary and aesthetic views. The introduction is written in the oriental classical style, the narration is dominated by the use of saj art. In thе article the data is about the samples of poetic device saj’, that were used in introductions for divans “Badoe ul-bidoya” and “Khazoin ul-maoni” by Alisher Navai. The research aims to investigate saj’ as one of the main stylistic features of introductions for divans and poet’s mastery using this device. By clarifying the essence of the issues raised in the preface, the importance of using three types of saj - saj mutawazi, saj mutarraf and saj mutavozin is analyzed.
