ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF THE ROLLING STOCK WITH INCREASED AXIAL LOADS ON A WAY AND SETTING THE CONDITIONS OF THEIR CIRCULATION ON THE RAILWAYS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract
The paper analyzes the characteristics and design of the main railway lines of Uzbekistan. Based on the analysis, a typical railway track design was selected for further research. The effects of rolling stock with increased axial loads on the upper structure of the railway of Uzbekistan are determined. The conditions for handling freight wagons with increased axial loads on the main railways of Uzbekistan have been established. According to the research it was determined that the existing structure of the main railways of Uzbekistan has sufficient strength and allows to operate freight rolling stock with high axial loads up to 27 ton at speeds of up to 90 km/h without over stress of the elements of the upper structure of the railway track and the roadbed. It will increase the carrying capacity of the heavy traffic sections of Uzbekistan’s railways and reduce operating costs.
