THE CHOICE OF MODES OF INTERACTION OF PUBLIC AND NON-PUBLIC RAIL TRANSPORT
Потылкин, Евгений
Аңдатпа
Given the current trend of increasing the share of non-inventory fleet of cars on the railways of the CIS countries, the problem of choosing the optimal modes of interaction of the main and industrial railway transport is now becoming particularly relevant. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to study the problematic issues of mutual operation of non-public railway tracks and junction stations associated with the temporary placement of non-inventory fleet cars, when organizing cargo trans-portation within the framework of a logistic delivery scheme and further developing methodological support to substantiate the choice of common and non-rail transport modes. To achieve this goal, we used the methods of scientific analysis, the theory of probability and the theory of reserves, the principles of interaction, as well as experimental and statistical methods of modeling. Using the de-veloped methodological support, recommendations can be obtained to substantiate the choice of the mode of interaction of main and industrial railway transport in terms of the distribution of cars sent in temporary accommodation between public and non-public railway tracks. This will reduce the costs of cargo owners by minimizing economic and temporary losses, increase the competitiveness of rail transport in the transport services market. A distinctive feature of the methodological support obtained is to take into account the effect of the random nature of servicing non-inventory transport facilities at non-public locations, as well as their share in the total fleet of carriages.
