Abstract

The article considers the problem of assessing the stability of a specialized portal tractor based on the lateral slip criterion and the rollover criterion. The calculated values of the angles of elevation and slope, as well as the limiting values of the static and dynamic angles of lateral stability when changing the center of gravity and the longitudinal base of the designed portal tractor for low-clearance and high-clearance versions, were obtained. The obtained characteristics must be taken into account when operating a specialized portal tractor.
