Abstract
The article examines the main development trends of the world's largest companies in the ferrous metallurgy sector. Their production indicators for recent years, as well as growth strategies and the introduction of innovative technologies, are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the role of metallurgy in the global economy and the competitiveness of companies.
