The article examines various methods for assessing the competitiveness of enterprises in the metallurgical industry based on rating assessments. Approaches such as the matrix analysis method, the comparative rating assessment method, and the rating financial analysis method are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the role of network characteristics in assessing the activities of enterprises and the impact of these methods on increasing their competitiveness in a market economy.
