Anti-vibration baffles used in the pipeline transportimprove the hydrodynamic characteristics and make the flow a steady-state one. The modeling of hydrodynamic processes in such flow zones is carried out by analytical or numerical methods. In this paper, the problem was solved analytically. A segmental bafflewas considered, consisting of parabolic inlet, middle cylindrical and hyperbolic outlet sections. The fluid flow was described by the Navier-Stokes equation. Assuming that the motion is a Poiseuille flow, analytical expressions of the pressure and average flow rate for each segment were obtained by the “stitching” method. Calculation results based on the obtained analytical expressions of hydrodynamic parameters are presented.
