Annotaciya
The results of modeling the heating kinetics of a 20 mm thick fiberglass part are presented. The simulation accounted for exothermic effects associated with the curing characteristics of the epoxy binder. Using Siemens NX software, the temperature distribution across the thickness of the fiberglass sample was determined. It was established that the curing process of thick composite structures is significantly influenced by the self-heating of the oligomer and the changing volumetric heat capacity during polymerization.
