Аннотация
The article examines methods of technical diagnostics used in railway transport as part of automated process control systems (APCS). Modern automated systems, functioning as human-machine complexes, provide control, management, and data collection on the condition of automation, telemechanics, and communication devices. Special attention is given to the classification of operational processes (continuous, discrete, and continuous-discrete) and their significance for the reliable operation of railway infrastructure. The main causes of failures are discussed, including both random external factors and gradual internal changes such as wear and aging of equipment. The article presents mathematical methods for assessing the probability of fault-free operation of technical systems, including failure rate analysis, probabilistic calculations, Boolean algebra methods, and statistical modeling. The effectiveness of using redundancy as a means of improving system reliability is demonstrated, while the software implementation of diagnostics using GAMS highlights the capabilities of modeling and analyzing complex systems. The separation of logic and data in such models enhances the flexibility and scalability of the proposed solutions.
