Аннотация
This article examines the issues of reducing track maintenance costs, using elastic rail pads made from local raw materials on industrial tracks. The railway track of JSC Almalyk GMK on the territory of Kalmakyr stations was selected for analysis. The issue of the composition of the gasket material, the development of gaskets with different compositions of the rubber mixture, rubber obtained on the basis of high-molecular rubbers, rubber mixture, which is a complex multi-component system, which includes rubbers and various ingredients, is considered. The history of rubber, the vulcanization process - a key stage in the transformation of raw rubber into a strong and elastic material, a set of rubber properties, special-purpose rubbers are also stated. The tasks, mechanical properties, and purpose of rail pads are specified. The issue of the gasket weight depending on the components included in the manufactured product is emphasized. The main task of the various components that change its composition is stated, which makes it possible to use the gaskets under a variety of conditions, from normal to aggressive operating conditions
