RISK ASSESSMENT IN THE FIELD OF TRAFFIC SAFETY IN RAILWAY TRANSPORT

Аннотация
The article discusses a method for assessing risks in the field of traffic safety based on Bayesian decision rules. This approach makes it possible to assess risks not only from the side of technical means operated on the railway transport network, but also to calculate the risks in the field of traffic safety associated with the influence of the human factor and with decision-making processes on the part ofcontrol systems. The calculation ofthe Bayesian risk under the condition ofa quadratic loss function and a random variable under study distributed according to the normal law can be carried out when studying the impact of changes in ensuring the safety of railway transportation associated with errors in the work ofmaintenance personnel, as well as when assessing the decisions made on traffic safety with aspects ofthe railway indus-try management system. Bayesian risk is understood as an estimate oflosses depend-ing on the decision made on the parameters of the random distribution of the critical indicator oftrain traffic safety, taking into account the norm established for it. Devia-tions from maintenance standards that directly affect traffic safety (gauge, "fatigue" parameters ofrails, excess work ofpersonnel, etc.) can serve as critical indicators.
