The article discusses problems of preserving biological diversity (biodiversity) in the world, including in Uzbekistan. One of the most important environmental problems of our time all over the world has become the most acute problem of preserving forests and their resources. Despite the fact that the total area of forests on the planet is about 38 million square kilometers, or a third of the land area, trends associated with deforestation.
