METHODS OF TEACHING KOREAN PRONOUNS

The method of teaching pronouns in the Korean language requires a careful approach, since pronouns not only serve to replace nouns, but also play an important role in expressing respect, hierarchy, and social relations. Pronouns in Korean vary depending on the level of politeness and intimacy between speakers. Accordingly, it is fundamentally important for the teacher to pay attention to the cultural peculiarities of the language, as well as to the correct use of pronouns, depending on the context.
