Abstract
Accordingly, as GFR decreases, substrate delivery is limited, which may compromise the ability of the affected kidney to produce 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D. This may be exacerbated by a decrease in 25-hydroxyvitamin D, which appears to be common in patients with kidney disease. This may be exacerbated by decreased levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D, which appears to be common in patients with kidney disease.
