Abstract
The prevalence of growth hormone deficiency (GHD) among obese adults is a serious medical problem that requires attention and further research. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), obesity is a widespread disease affecting more than 650 million adults worldwide. Research shows that obese people often have insufficient production of growth hormone, which can increase the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, diabetes and other serious diseases. Despite this, up to 80% of cases of growth hormone deficiency in adults remain undiagnosed. This abstract highlights the need for further research into the prevalence of this condition among obese adults and the development of effective methods for identifying and treating this condition.
