Аннотация
The association of negative emotions with depression and poor emotion regulation skills suggests that treatment for people with obesity and high levels of negative emotions should focus not on calorie-restricted diets but on emotion regulation skills. The DEBQ (Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire) allows for such comprehensive treatment of obesity. The Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ) is a reliable assessment tool for eating disorders (EDs). Health care providers may be influenced by society's views on higher body weight and offer treatment tailored to the person's weight rather than their eating disorder (for example, recommending a medication for its appetite suppressant effect rather than for reducing binge eating ). 3. Health care providers should be aware of the risks and benefits of discussing body weight, especially with people who are vulnerable to or have experienced eating disorders.
