DIDACTIC PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES TO THE STUDENTS MAJORING IN LEGAL SCIENCES

The process of teaching foreign languages to students majoring in legal sciences requires a specialized approach that integrates both linguistic and legal competencies. This article explores the didactic principles essential for effective foreign language instruction in legal education. In the context of globalization, and political and social situations worldwide, this topic becomes particularly relevant. The article highlights key principles such as communicative competence, professional orientation, interdisciplinarity, and learner-centered teaching. The study also emphasizes the importance of authentic legal texts, case-based learning, and interactive methodologies to enhance language acquisition in a legal context. The findings suggest that applying these principles not only improves students’ language proficiency but also equips them with the necessary skills to operate in international legal environments.
