Аннотация
One of the lasting literary legacies of the Baburids was their contribution to the development of Urdu. The synthesis of Persian, Arabic, and local Indian languages during the Mughal period laid the foundation for Urdu as a literary language. By the time of the later Mughals, Urdu poetry, particularly in the form of ghazals, became a dominant literary tradition.
