TECHNOLOGIES FOR GROWING STRAWBERRIES IN HYDROPONIC CONDITIONS

Abstract

The study highlights the importance of selecting the right strawberry variety and cultivation method based on environmental conditions and production goals. The "Arihyang" variety stands out for greenhouse cultivation due to its high photosynthetic efficiency and leaf growth, while the "Santa" variety is optimal for early ripening, and the "Maehyang" variety is promising for export. The vertical method provides a stable root temperature and higher CO₂ levels, but the hanging method generally supports better vegetative growth.
