Аннотация
The problem of obesity worldwide has been one of the most widespread in recent decades and has no downward trend. According to the World Obesity Atlas 2023 report, 38% of the world's population is overweight or obese, with a body mass index above 25 kg/m2. In particular, obese women are exposed to disorders of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian regulatory system, which is accompanied by impaired ovulation, infertility, low pregnancy rate, spontaneous miscarriages, and increased frequency of complications of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. The article provides a review of the literature on the current state of the problem of endocrine infertility in obese women of reproductive age and the role of neohormones such as leptin, follistatin and relaxin in the development of endocrine infertility. The article reflects modern ideas about the pathogenesis of obesity, the mechanism of development of ovarian insufficiency and the problem of endocrine infertility.
