The article presents the results of laboratory studies on the oil content of cotton seeds grown in different ecological regions and differing in matrix characteristics. Under the conditions of the Tashkent, Namangan, and Khorezm regions during 2023–2025, the oil content of seeds of the breeding varieties Sulton, C-6524, Khorezm-127, C-5707, C-6575, C-6580, C-8295, C-8296, and C-8297 was determined. It was found that the oil content of seeds formed on the 3rd–8th fruiting branches (I–III order), 9th–11th fruiting branches (I–II order), and 12th–14th fruiting branches (I order) relative to the main stem amounted to 17.7–20.0%, 17.9–20.4%, and 18.2–20.6%, respectively, in these regions.
