Annotatsiya

The postmenopausal period of women's life is characterized by metabolic disturbances in various tissues, including teeth, in the form of loss of teeth, damage to periodontal tissues, increased resorption of alveolar and jaw bones. The high prevalence of dental diseases in postmenopausal women and difficulties in their treatment and prevention are mainly due to insufficient knowledge of pathogenesis of these diseases.
