Videothoracoscopic interventions in patients with bullous lung disease

Abstract
Bullous emphysema affects more than 5% of the world's population, with almost 12% among adults over 30 years of age. It is also known that this disease is the cause of spontaneous pneumothorax in 70-80% of cases. In modern thoracic surgery, the development of adhesion technologies for the surgical treatment of complications of bullous lung disease is an urgent problem. The basis of clinical trials will be the results of treatment of 59 patients with bullous pulmonary disease complicated by rupture, who received treatment at the State Institution “RSNPMTSH im. acad. V. Vakhidov "and the Bukhara Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center. The developed method of combined pleurodesis when performing videothoracoscopic interventions provides adequate formation of the adhesions in the pleural cavity with a decrease in the risk of recurrence of the complicated course of bullous pulmonary disease from 6.5% to 3.6%, and, in general, made it possible to increase the proportion of patients with the absence of immediate and distant complications from 77.4% to 89.3%.
