Abstract
The spleen plays an important role in the immune system and hematopoiesis, ensuring blood filtration and the removal of damaged cells. Dysfunction of the spleen can lead to immunodeficiency and an increased risk of infectious diseases. Spleen injuries, especially ruptures, are associated with significant blood loss and require urgent medical attention. Both surgical and minimally invasive treatment methods are currently used. Splenectomy, although it remains an effective method of repairing severe injuries, is accompanied by an increased risk of infectious complications.
