Abstract
This article examines the historical role of Termez as one of the key cultural and political centers of Central Asia and its contribution to the First and Second Renaissance periods. Special attention is given to the city’s geographical position, its transformation over time, and its significance in the spread of Islamic thought and scholarship. The study highlights the activities of Termez scholars, the role of the Sayyid dynasty, and the city’s importance in the Timurid era, demonstrating its lasting impact on regional civilization
