Аннотация
This article examines the military, economic, and strategic significance of the Termez–Herat corridor within the broader context of geopolitical processes that unfolded in Central Asia in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The study aims to analyze the rivalry between Russia and Great Britain within the framework of the “Great Game” by focusing on territorial infrastructure, transportation networks, trade systems, and patterns of military deployment. The findings suggest that this corridor evolved into a complex strategic space where military logistics, economic penetration, and political control intersected.
