This article analyzes the dialectical interrelation of social consciousness, political identity, and civilizational selfhood in the context of the emerging new world order. The research is grounded in the methodological frameworks of Hegel’s dialectical philosophy, Gramsci’s theory of hegemony, Castells’ network society concept, and Bourdieu’s theory of social fields. The article demonstrates that under contemporary global transformations, social consciousness is not shaped within the bounds of traditional ideological determinants alone, but rather emerges at the intersection of civilizational consciousness, national identity, and global information flows. Political identity is not a one-dimensional, immutable construct, but rather the product of a continuous dialectical movement among social practice, cultural memory, and discourses of power. Civilizational selfhood, in turn, is simultaneously the product of ancient historical sedimentation and an object of contemporary normative struggle. Using Uzbekistan as a case study, the article identifies the distinctive features of identity reconstruction characteristic of the post-Soviet space. The research findings confirm that instead of Huntington’s predicted "clash of civilizations," what is actually occurring is more a "dialogue and competition of civilizations" — a process that, unlike rigid antagonistic conflict, takes on a complex dialectical character.
