Abstract
The helminth fauna of the digestive system of sheep (Ovis aries) was studied in the conditions of the Surkhandarya region in the autumn-winter of 2025 and the spring of 2026. 28 species of helminths belonging to 3 classes were identified in the digestive system: Cestoda - 6 species, Trematoda - 3 species, Nematoda - 19 species. The level of infection of sheep with helminths was 94.4%. Moniesiosis, fasciolosis, dicroceliosis, nematodirosis, marshalliasis and hemonchosis were recorded as dominant helminthiasis. Bioecological prevention recommendations were developed for dominant species.
