This article provides a scientific analysis of the impact of generational change on youth social activity. Based on the generational theory developed by N. Howe and W. Strauss, the study examines differences in social, political, and civic engagement among various generations. Special attention is given to the role of information technologies, mass media, and social networks in shaping the attitudes and forms of social participation of Generation Z. Through the analysis of academic literature and secondary sociological data, key trends in the transformation of youth social activity in contemporary society are identified. The findings of the study may be useful for the development of youth policy, public administration, and civil society institutions.
