Linguistic correlation in and its oppositional principles

In this article, the scientific and theoretical foundations of the phenomenon of “correlation” in linguistics are studied based on various encyclopedias and explanatory dictionaries, and the subordinate foundations are analyzed about the principle of “interdependence,” which is considered as its main criterion. In particular, it has been determined that the main content of the theory of linguistic correlation is not only the concept of connection or compatibility, but it has also been studied as a linguistic phenomenon manifested through the principles of opposition, statistics, compatibility, and difference. In addition, by describing its use as a method of analysis specific to the study of linguistic phenomena, that is, as a correlation method, some general correlative characteristic features of modern linguistics were specified.
