Abstract

Based on the analysis of international experience, the article examines the issues of determining the effectiveness of state policy on import substitution, including through the use of offset mechanisms in industrial production and the development of the institute of public procurement, certification and standardization. Measures are also proposed to improve the import substitution policy based on the possibility of applying research results in the development of industrial development programs.
