Abstract

The article examines the study of the lexicon of the pandemic era in media discourse, as well as the concept of "coronavirus" by analyzing metaphorical models in modern Russian and Anglo-American mass media and Internet networks. Texts of media discourse in Russian and English covering the topic of the coronavirus pandemic in the electronic mass media were taken as research materials.
