Annotaciya
This article presents a comparative study of the theoretical foundations, structural features, and functional use of lexical meaning in the English and Uzbek languages. Within the scope of the research, the semantic system, polysemy, synonymy, phraseological units, and cultural determinants were thoroughly analyzed. The findings indicate that although lexical meaning is based on universal semantic principles, the cultural and typological characteristics of each language significantly influence its formation.
