Their roles in ensuring global financial stability, promotinginvestment, and managing crises are highlighted. Institutional changes—including governance restructuring, quotarealignment, and enhanced oversight mechanisms—are examined alongside common criticisms related to representationand policy influence. The continuing transformation of these institutions underscores the need for adaptive financialgovernance in a shifting global economy.
