This scientific article provides a comprehensive analysis of the state of electricity production by wind powerplants. Within the framework of the study, the dynamics of wind energy development at the global and Uzbek levels, thevolume of installed capacity, indicators of electricity generation, and factors of economic efficiency were examined for theperiod 2020–2024. The technical characteristics of wind turbines, the capacity factor, the cost of electricity (LCOE), andissues related to grid integration were also analyzed. The results of the analysis show that wind energy has demonstrateda stable growth trend in recent years, while its environmental sustainability and economic competitiveness continue toincrease. The article proposes scientific and practical recommendations for the effective integration of wind energy intothe national energy system.
