THE CONCEPT OF INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATION IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND ITS THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS

This article examines the concept of institutional transformation in vocational education institutions and exploresits theoretical foundations in the context of modern socio-economic development. The study analyzes key drivers oftransformation, including technological change, labor market dynamics, and policy reforms, and highlights their impacton governance models, curriculum design, and stakeholder engagement. Particular attention is given to theoreticalapproaches such as institutional economics, human capital theory, and new institutionalism, which provide a conceptualframework for understanding transformation processes. The findings indicate that effective institutional transformationrequires the integration of flexible, competency-based education systems, strong links with industry, and the adoptionof innovative teaching and management practices. The article also emphasizes the importance of aligning vocationaleducation with labor market needs and enhancing its social relevance and attractiveness
