Linguistic and Extralinguistic Features of Anthroponyms: Semiotic and Cultural-Cognitive Syncretism in Onomastic Systems
Rajapova, Gulnoza
Аннотация
This study presents a comprehensive, multidimensional linguistic and extralinguistic analysis of anthroponyms (personal names) within the frameworks of contemporary anthroponomastics, cognitive linguistics, and linguocultural studies. Anthroponyms are viewed not merely as arbitrary linguistic signs intended for social identification, but as complex semiotic nodes embodying sociocultural history, psychological archetypes, ideological paradigms, and cognitive classifications. Employing comparative-typological and linguostylistic methodologies alongside semiotic modeling, the study examines the dual nature of personal names: their formal, intralinguistic structures (phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels) and their extralinguistic associations (ethnocultural, historical, sociopragmatic, and psychological factors).
