THE CURRENT STATE OF DIGITALIZATION OF TOURISM IN UZBEKISTAN AND PROSPECTS FOR ITS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The digital transformation of the global economy has significantly influenced the development of the tourismindustry. In Uzbekistan, important reforms are being implemented to digitalize tourism services through electronic visasystems, online booking platforms, digital payments, and smart tourism technologies. This article analyzes the current stateof tourism digitalization in Uzbekistan and evaluates its future development prospects. The study is based on statisticaldata on international tourist arrivals and tourism service indicators for 2018–2025. The research findings show thatdigital technologies contribute to increasing tourist flows, improving service quality, and enhancing the competitiveness ofUzbekistan’s tourism sector. The article also identifies existing challenges and proposes recommendations for the furtherdevelopment of digital tourism in Uzbekistan.
