Innovation has become one of the most significant factors determining business competitivenessin the modern global economy. Firms producing innovative goods and services and introducing innovativebusiness processes, organizational models, and management techniques are more likely to achieve sustainabledevelopment and growth amid dynamic global competition. The paper explores the impact of implementinginnovation policies on corporate efficiency, productivity, and profitability, as well as customer satisfaction andmarket share. In this respect, the paper employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods to drawconclusions regarding the relationship between innovation and the competitiveness of economies with differentlevels of development and modernization. Particular attention is paid to technological innovation, digitaladaptation, and R&D activities in the context of modern competition.The results of the research show that innovative companies are more adaptable to external changes,demonstrate higher profitability, and possess greater potential for the long-term application of innovations.Statistics from the Global Innovation Index and national innovation reports support the idea that countries andenterprises that invest more in innovation are more successful and adaptable in an ever-changing world andmore competitive on the global stage. The main conclusion of the paper is that innovation is no longer an optionbut a top-priority issue in the modern world.
