This article examines the problem of spiritual crisis and its underlying causes in the works of the prominent Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov. The author’s literary heritage focuses on the inner world of the individual, moral degradation, the collapse of traditional values, and the spiritual emptiness of modern society. Through an analysis of Aitmatov’s major works, the study reveals the philosophical and ethical dimensions of spiritual decline, emphasizing the loss of faith, responsibility, and harmony between the individual and society. The article highlights the humanistic and philosophical depth of Aitmatov’s creative vision.
